About Patricia — Online Therapist in NY & CT
You’ve been showing up for everyone else. Now let's talk about showing up for you. Together, we can tackle what's keeping you stuck, heal old wounds, and help you show up for yourself.
Meet Your Therapist
Hi, I'm Patricia. I work with Gen X adults who are anxious, burned out, and carrying trauma they were told wasn't "that bad."
Are you the one everyone else leans on? The caregiver, parent, oldest sibling? You might be the one who always shows up, figures it out, and keeps going — even when you’re running on fumes.
I built my practice around you because I know what it's like to grow up in a world that handed you adult problems and expected you to handle them quietly.
I'm a Gen Xer, too. I lived through the same cultural messaging that said rest had to be earned, boundaries were selfish, and asking for help was weakness.
That stops here.
When you work with me, you won't get toxic positivity or a generic self-care checklist. What you will get is honest, warm, real support — and a therapist who asks the bold questions that help you name what you've been avoiding.
When you work with me, you won't get toxic positivity or a generic self-care checklist.
What you will get is honest, warm, real support — and a therapist who asks the bold questions that help you name what you've been avoiding.
In our work together, you can expect to:
- Understand why you think, feel, and react the way you do
- Break patterns rooted in guilt, obligation, and fear
- Learn to set boundaries without the shame spiral
- Stop just surviving your days, and start enjoying them
- Reclaim your time, your energy, and your voice
You don't have to keep hiding in your car and screaming into pillows to get through the day. There's another way — and I can help you find it.
My Approach to Therapy
I'm not here to be your bestie who co-signs everything. I'm your co-pilot — and together we'll do the deep dive you need to finally get unstuck.
During our work together, I'll ask the questions you've been avoiding. I'll sit with you in the mess without judgment. And I'll help you understand how your survival strategies, like people-pleasing, over-giving, the inability to say no, are holding you back.
We'll work at a pace that feels right for you. No rushing, no pressure, no one-size-fits-all treatment plan.
Therapy isn't selfish. It's how we get you to show up better for everyone else, including yourself.

I've been in practice for 13+ years. During this time, I've worked with adults through anxiety, burnout, trauma, family conflict, and relationship dynamics.
I started my career at a methadone clinic doing individual, family, and couples work. I later joined a nonprofit ACT Team, eventually becoming Team Director and building a program that served clients within the NYC shelter system. I partnered with four shelters, hired and trained staff, and found clients who needed support most.
In January 2024, I opened my private practice because I wanted to do this work on my own terms, for the people who need it most. Today, I work with Gen X adults in New York and Connecticut who are ready to stop putting themselves last.
A Few Fun Things About Me
I'm more than my credentials. Plus therapy works better when you actually like your therapist.
Purple Rain changed my life at age 7. I heard "When Doves Cry" and genuinely thought Prince wrote it about me. '70s and '80s parenting needs to be studied.
George Lucas and Frank Oz got it right — The Empire Strikes Back is peak storytelling. You can’t change my mind.
I still say "album" instead of "vinyl," and I make dope playlists. Some things don't change.
Sesame Street, The Muppet Show, and Eddie Murphy shaped my humor — and probably my moral compass.
I'm a therapist who has anxiety. I sing "My Favorite Things" from The Sound of Music when it's on fuego. Most therapists have been there. It's part of why we do this work.
I love both authentic and colonized tacos. No further explanation needed.
